Dr. Meghan Foster came to Alaska after graduating from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine in 2008. Prior to dental school, she played Division I soccer at the University of Colorado. While in undergraduate school, she earned two bachelor degrees; one in Journalism, as well as one in Kinesiology/Applied Physiology. After dental school, Dr. Foster went on to complete a 2-year pediatric dental residency program with the Alaska Native Medical Center. After completion of the residency, she became a board certified pediatric dentist. Her passion has always been to treat children and to give them smiles that they feel proud of. She especially enjoys working with children and families that come to her with special needs. She has taken dental mission trips to Romania, and works with local outreach programs through UAA, and the Alaska Dental Mission of Mercy. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Alaskan Dental Society, American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, and American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Not only did Dr. Foster attend the University of Colorado dental school, her husband did as well! They are the proud parents of a beautiful little girl, and a darling son. They keep busy outside of the dental office enjoying everything from family soccer games to fishing, camping, and skiing. As far as they are concerned, nothing is better than the Alaskan outdoors!
